    February 24, 2011 – DRI The Voice Of the Defense Bar – Joseph C. DeBlasio, shareholder in Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C.’s Labor and Employment Practice Area, and Ari G. Burd, member of the firms Labor and Employment Practice Area, have co-authored an article in DRI The Voice of the Defense Bar. “Supreme Court Grants Employees within the ‘Zone of Interests’ Standing to Sue for Title VII Retaliation” discusses a landmark ruling in the United States Supreme Court, regarding Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964., The article highlights several facets of the case including, retaliation by an employer against an employee because of protected activity by the employee’s fiancée.
