This education program will focus on issues to consider when deciding whether to participate in an ACO. Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance companies all have different ideas of what constitutes an ACO. Find out the distinctions among the different models and how they impact your practice and your financial well-being. Assemblywoman Handlin will provide insight into the Legislature’s response to ACOs, and Assistant Commissioner Sullivan will discuss the Department of Banking and Insurance’s response to ACOs.
