Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla Attorneys Conduct First Major Closing For The Former Fort Monmouth Property

    February 11, 2013

On Tuesday, January 29, 2013, Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla attorneys conducted a closing with the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority on a 55 acre parcel within the former Fort Monmouth Army base. The closing was the first major closing for the former Fort Monmouth property. The property has been designated as a redevelopment area by the Borough of Tinton Falls and our client proposes to construct its new worldwide corporate headquarters on the property. Full build out is scheduled to occur in several phases and construction on phase 1, which includes an approximately 275,000-square-foot, $70 million building, is anticipated to begin in the first part of this year.

Lead attorney on the acquisition, redevelopment and closing was Michael Bruno, Co-chair of the Real Estate, Redevelopment and Planned Real Estate Department. He was assisted by Steve Gouin.
