    Giordano Shareholder Monica J. Ceres Selected for Inclusion in the New Jersey Law Journal's "40 Under 40"

    August 16, 2010 - Red Bank, NJ - Monica J. Ceres, a shareholder at the law firm of Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, has been selected by the New Jersey Law Journal for inclusion in its “40 Under 40” list. The publication selected the leading 40 attorneys in New Jersey under the age of 40 using the following criteria: those who have developed unique practice niches, demonstrated leadership potential by work in practice groups or committees, and amassed a thick book of business and a solid record of trial, appellate or transactional work. Credit was also given for pro bono work and charitable, community and other volunteer activities.

    Ms. Ceres has devoted her career to the registration of Planned Real Estate Developments and Commercial Real Estate Leasing. Ms. Ceres prepares the necessary documentation required for the registration of public offering statements and related materials for both condominium and fee-simple style planned real estate developments as regulated by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Ms. Ceres also prepares the governing documents for the homeowners' or condominium associations established by the creation of mixed-use, active-adult or large residential planned real estate communities. In addition, Ms. Ceres counsels individual and corporate landlords and tenants in connection with the preparation, review and negotiation of commercial real estate leases.

    Outside of her work at GH&C, Ms. Ceres dedicates her time to her local community. As Secretary of the Board of Directors for Collier Youth Services, Ms. Ceres works to support Collier’s mission of providing at-risk youth with a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity, and hope. Ms. Ceres is also actively involved in the New Jersey Chapter of Industrial Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc. as well as CREW National.
