    Melissa V. Skrocki Named a Member of the Women of Leadership Committee of ACG, NJ Chapter

    Red Bank, NJ - May, 2016 - Melissa V. Skrocki, a shareholder in the firm’s Business and Banking and Intellectual Property and Technology practice areas, has been named a member of the Women of Leadership Committee of the New Jersey chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). The Women of Leadership Committee focuses on facilitating connections between senior level women in the middle market business community so they can share experiences, needs and contacts while providing support for each other.

    Melissa Skrocki focuses her practice on counseling business clients through various transactions with an emphasis on intellectual property issues. Melissa's business law practice includes the representation of clients in contract negotiations, confidentiality agreements, organization and formation of business entities, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, operating agreements and licensing agreements. In addition, Melissa assists her clients with business succession planning and commercial banking transactions. In connection with the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology practice, Melissa advises clients with regard to state, federal and international trademark matters such as availability searches, registrations and maintenance of trademarks. She also counsels clients with regard to domain name disputes, privacy and use policies and other Internet related matters. She is also well versed in the intricacies of federal copyright law and intellectual property licensing agreements.
