November 9, 2010 - Red Bank, NJ - New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie has nominated Michael A. Pane, Jr., shareholder at the law firm of Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C., to serve on the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority. The Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) was created to provide investment, continuity and economic growth to the communities impacted by the federal government's decision to close Fort Monmouth. FMERA replaces the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Planning Authority and advance that entity's Reuse and Redevelopment Plan for economic development, growth and planning, with a focus on technology-based industries, for the 1,126 acres of real estate at Fort Monmouth following the base closure in September 2011.Mr. Pane, member of the Real Estate, Land Use & Development Practice Area, at Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C., focuses his practice in many aspects of municipal law and real estate acquisition, financing and development. His practice mainly consists of preparation, negotiation and review of sophisticated agreements and loan documentation; construction financing on behalf of borrowers and banks; developing creative solutions to problem loans; complex leasing transactions; and perfection of government approvals for land use development.
