Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla Partner Robert J. Feinberg, Esq. to Moderate Panel Discussion at the New Jersey State Bar Association's 2011 Annual Meeting and Convention

On May 18 - 20, 2011, The New Jersey State Bar Association will be holding its Annual Meeting and Convention at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Atlantic City, the premier event for the Bar Association. On Thursday May 19, 2011, Robert J. Feinberg, shareholder in the firm's Litigation Practice Area, will be co-moderating a panel discussion, “Business Litigation in the Chancery Courts: a 2011 Primer”, with many of the State’s brightest legal minds. This Seminar is an innovative examination of equity jurisprudence issues in the business law realm. The discussion will provide business litigators and transactional attorneys with a review of recent case law, trends in business litigation, the treatment of various corporate entities in business litigation (with a focus on the application of the New Jersey Business Corporation Act to limited liability companies) and legislative activity that will shape the business climate for years to come. The input from the Chancery Bench provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from the jurists who decide matters of great importance to the business community.

The panel members include: co-moderator Alexandra V. Gallo, Esq., McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP, Morristown; Hon. Allison E. Accurso, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division; Hon. Thomas W. Cavanagh, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division; Hon. Frank Ciuffani, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division; Hon. Thomas P. Olivieri, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division; Hon. Deanne M. Wilson, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division; Frederick W. Alworth, Esq., Gibbons PC; and Stuart L. Pachman, Esq., Brach Eichler LLP, the author of the Gann publication on New Jersey Corporations.

The Annual Meeting and Conference will cover a variety of timely topics ranging from "Accelerating Marketing and Avoiding Ethical Issues" to "Diverse Trailblazers in the Legal Profession" to "Solar Energy in New Jersey." The New Jersey Bar Association's biggest event of the year, the Convention, draws over 2,000 attorneys, judges, law clerks, legal administrators and paralegals. Attendees can earn up to 12 CLE credits toward New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania mandatory continuing legal education requirements at seminars sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association, its Sections, Committees and Young Lawyers Division, and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
