Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla Names Four New Shareholders in 2025

GH&C is proud to announce that four of its associates have been promoted to shareholders, effective January 1, 2025:
Evan Bakhet has a broad-based trans-national Corporate and Business practice, representing emerging and established companies in diverse commercial sectors. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity business transactions, debt and equity financings, securities reporting and SEC compliance, corporate governance, ongoing operations and general corporate matters.
Chiara Corliss is a member of the firm’s Planned Real Estate Development practice. She primarily represents local, statewide and national builders in the preparation and filing of governing documents for planned real estate developments and the drafting and registration of public offering plans and related documents as regulated by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Chiara also represents commercial developers in the formation of industrial, office and commercial condominium projects.
Peter Guastella, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, is a civil and commercial litigator, handling corporate and contractual matters. His clients include local businesses, national developers, contractors, and other members of the construction and real estate sectors across the state. He also focuses on probate litigation, wills, trusts and matters involving undue influence, fiduciary misconduct, fiduciary accountings and guardianships.
Steven Ward is a member of the firm’s Land Use & Development, Litigation, Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy, and Community Association Law practice areas. He represents developers, lenders, landlords and a range of business owners before municipal planning and zoning boards across the state. In addition, he serves as general counsel to condominium and homeowners’ associations. Ward also handles litigation in collection, foreclosure and prerogative writ matters.
