Real Estate Attorney
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Associate Attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in real estate law and a desire to grow their career within a supportive firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial and residential real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing purchase agreements, leases, and related documents.
- Conduct title reviews and resolve title issues.
- Manage due diligence, including reviewing surveys, environmental reports, and zoning documents.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Research and advise on real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- Represent clients in closings and other real estate-related legal proceedings as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Environmental Attorney
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging environmental law matters, representing clients in industries such as real estate, construction, energy, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in advising clients on compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations, including NJDEP and EPA requirements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions and briefs for environmental litigation cases.
- Draft and review environmental documents, such as permits, regulatory filings and agreements.
- Support land use and development projects by advising on zoning, permitting and environmental impact assessments.
Qualifications

Billing Assistant
Position Summary:
The Billing Assistant, who will report to the firm’s Billing Manager, is responsible for providing administrative and operational support. This role ensures timely and accurate preparation, processing, and maintenance of client invoices, while adhering to the firm's policies and client-specific billing guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. This is a full-time in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and generating client invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing guidelines.
- Review pre-bills for errors, discrepancies, and compliance with client requirements.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to make necessary adjustments to pre-bills.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing-related matters promptly and professionally.
- Communicate with clients about billing disputes and work towards resolution.
- Maintain accurate billing records in the firm's billing software.
- Update and manage client billing information, including rates, payment terms, and contact details.
- Generate and distribute billing reports for internal use and client review.
- Assist in reconciling billing discrepancies and ensuring accounts receivable are up-to-date.
- Assist in submitting invoices through electronic billing platforms (e.g., LEDES, e-Billing systems).
- Monitor e-billing submissions to ensure timely approval and payment.

Qualifications and Skills:

File Clerk/Receptionist
Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C. is seeking a file clerk/receptionist for a full time role at the firm. Candidates should have strong organizational, communication and computer skills. Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Filing - opening and closing firm files, creation of new client files and maintaining current paper files. Candidate must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Electronic filing of documents.
- General document creation, management of files and form updating.
- General administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, calendar entry, assisting attorney as needed with all administrative duties and time sheet inputting, as needed.
- Reception desk coverage as needed.
