    Bankruptcy Administrative Assistant

    Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time, highly organized and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Administrative Assistant to support our busy bankruptcy practice in Red Bank, NJ. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare, format, and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents
    • Maintain case files and ensure all deadlines are tracked and met
    • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial and case information
    • E-file documents with bankruptcy courts and monitor filings
    • Coordinate hearings, meetings, and attorney calendars
    • Assist attorneys with case management and administrative support
    • Handle general correspondence and document management

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience in bankruptcy law or legal administrative support preferred
    • Familiarity with bankruptcy court procedures and e-filing systems
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
    • SurePoint experience a plus

    Benefits

    • Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 (based on experience)

     Legal Word Processor/Receptionist

    Job Description

    We are looking for a polished and detail-oriented Legal Word Processor/Receptionist to serve as both a front-facing representative of the firm and a key support resource for document production in our Red Bank, NJ office. This full-time position requires strong technical skills and a professional, client-focused demeanor.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
    • Ensure documents adhere to firm formatting and style standards
    • Manage incoming calls and greet clients in a professional and courteous manner
    • Route calls and visitors to appropriate attorneys and staff
    • Maintain conference room scheduling and front desk organization
    • Assist with document revisions, redlining, and version control
    • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff

    Qualifications

    • Experience with legal document formatting and word processing required
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, TOC, track changes, etc.)
    • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
    • Professional communication and client service skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Prior law firm experience preferred

    We are seeking a full-time, versatile and dependable General Legal Assistant to support multiple departments across the firm in our Red Bank, NJ office. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed—from reception to administrative tasks to mailroom operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff across departments
    • Assist with reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
    • Maintain office organization, supplies, and common areas
    • Assist with filing, scanning, and document management
    • Support scheduling, meeting setup, and general office operations
    • Handle special projects and miscellaneous tasks as assigned
